We wanted to provide a training center/performance venue dedicated to every student/performer wishing to begin or further his or her training and enhance the skills needed for performance and beyond through our approach to LongForm Improvisation.
We wanted to create a program that embodied the core principles/ideas of our favorite Improv and Theater disciplines, beliefs and instructor styles. These elements were then combined into a fun, exciting and challenging program. Our program at C.I.I. holds true to the idea known as the Longform Style of Improvisational Comedy. This is the Cleveland Improv Institute's unique take on the style. Chicago, L.A. and New York all have there own style of Improv and so does Cleveland! Improv...Cleveland Improv!
