Have you ever watched or been a part of an improv scene that took too long to get started? Would you like to create stronger scenes in your own work? This 1 day workshop will explore the elements to creating more vivid scenes quicker and the importance of doing so. With your instructors direction, you will have “hands-on” training regarding this improv principle. You will then be able to apply these skills to your own scene creation!
Req: This workshop is for students with a working familiarity of improvisational fundamentals as well as improv scene creation.

Step into the world of the unpredictable...improvisational comedy! This 2 day 6 hour workshop throws open the doors of Improvisational Comedy Theater to all that want to advance there craft. Become more acquainted with the improv trilogy (who, what and where), learn to work more truthfully in scenes and create more vivid environments . Through fun, exciting, challenging games and exercises you will begin to learn why these elements are the backbone of any great improvised scene. Through instructor coaching and personal direction you will be able to apply these elements in your own work! Director of Curriculum Mitchell Fields takes you the student on a fantastic journey of fun and exploration! This workshop is open to all improvisers with all skill levels of improvisational comedy training welcome.
